Dr. Carl N. Williams, Jr. offers BOTOX® to patients in Las Vegas, Henderson, Paradise, Spring Valley, North Las Vegas and Sunrise Manor, NV as well as the surrounding areas.

What is BOTOX®?

Also known as botulinum toxin type A, BOTOX® is an FDA-approved injectable that is used to treat wrinkles. The substance effectively blocks the release of acetylcholine – a chemical released by our nerve cells that causes wrinkles – paralyzing the muscle, stopping the contraction and, in effect, erasing the wrinkle.

If you live in Las Vegas, Henderson, Paradise or the surrounding areas and you'd like to learn more about how BOTOX® can benefit you, please call us today to schedule a personal consultation. We are happy to discuss details about the treatment, including average BOTOX® prices, and we'll even provide you with some BOTOX® before and after photos.

How is BOTOX® Administered?

One of the best things about BOTOX® is that it can be done quickly and discretely in as much time as it takes for your lunch break. And contrary to popular belief, it is not as painful as it may look. The doctor will inject the diluted solution into the treatment area using a very fine needle, and you'll see the effects shortly thereafter. Your facial muscles will start to relax, giving you a younger, wrinkle-free complexion.

Am I a Good Candidate for BOTOX®?

If you want to stop the signs of aging without having to undergo an invasive surgical procedure, BOTOX® may be for you. The most common things that we treat are forehead lines, crow's feet and laugh lines that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth. In addition, BOTOX® has been proven effective in a number of non-cosmetic disorders, including migraines, dsytonia, jaw tension, lazy eye, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and uncontrolled blinking. Take a look at some BOTOX® before and after photos to see how this quick and easy procedure can help you.

What Kind of Post-Operative BOTOX® Care Can I Expect?

BOTOX® requires very little down time, so patients are able to resume normal daily activities immediately. Perhaps this is where it got the nickname of a “lunchtime procedure.” There are no incisions or bandages involved, and the most common side effects are limited to minor bruising and headaches.

Your doctor will advise you to avoid laying down for at least four hours after treatment, and avoid rubbing the treated area for at least 12 hours, as this could cause the solution to migrate to other areas of the body.

What are the Typical Results of BOTOX®?

BOTOX® is a very quick and effective treatment that will give your skin the youthful, supple appearance that you're looking for. However, it does not permanently turn back the hands of time. Results typically last between four and six months, and the treated muscles will eventually regain their ability to contract, causing the wrinkles to reappear. At this time, follow-up injections are generally recommended to maintain your steady youthful glow.

What are BOTOX® Costs?

BOTOX® costs are different from patient to patient, as we all have different goals in mind. We suggest scheduling your one-on-one consultation with Dr. Williams, where you can discuss your specific case in detail and come up with a treatment plan that is right for you.

Our staff is also available to answer any questions you may have about the procedure, and we are happy to serve BOTOX® patients throughout Nevada, including Las Vegas, Henderson and Paradise.
