What is a Brow Lift?

Are you bothered by the obvious signs of aging on your face, including deep creases around the eyes, nose and mouth, or sagging skin from the neck? If so, it may be time for a brow lift. A brow lift is performed to get rid of these problem spots and restore a more youthful contour to your face.

Dr. Williams has performed countless brow lifts for patients in and around Las Vegas, Henderson and Paradise, NV, and his main goal is to give you the most subtle, natural-looking results possible. To discuss brow lift prices, please give us a call today to set up your personal consultation.

How is a Brow Lift Performed?

Dr. Williams performs brow lift surgery on an outpatient basis using general anesthesia. The surgery typically takes about two to five hours. He will begin with a small incision around the ear, sometimes moving into the hairline. He will elevate the sagging skin of the cheek, tighten the underlying facial muscles, trim the excess skin and the close the incision with stitches to fit the new contour of the face.

Am I a Good Candidate for a Brow Lift?

Most of the brow lift patients we see are about 50 years of age or older. However, if you are unhappy with any of the following, you may be a good candidate regardless of your age:

  • Deep creases below the lower lids or between the nose and the corner of the mouth
  • Sagging facial skin

The best brow lift candidates are those who have generally good skin tone and elasticity and are looking to combat signs of premature aging. Please contact our office to set up your consultation with Dr. Williams, where you can discuss your specific goals and come up with a treatment plan that's right for you.

What Kind of Post-Operative Brow Lift Care Can I Expect?

Common side effects following your brow lift include tightness of the skin and mild discomfort, which can be minimized with some prescription pain medication. While most of the swelling will go down after a couple of days, facial puffiness may persist for up to two weeks.

At night, you should sleep upright in bed and apply cold compresses to the face. This will work to reduce the swelling during the initial post-op period. Finally, it's best to refrain from any strenuous activity for at least six weeks.

What are the Typical Results of a Brow Lift?

The typical outcome for brow lift patients is having tighter, more youthful-looking contours on the face. Your deep wrinkles and sagging skin will disappear, making way for a more rejuvenated, refreshed glow.

It's important to remember, however, that although this procedure can take years off your face, it does not stop the clock. The aging process will inevitably continue, so you may need to consider another procedure in about 10 years time.

What are Brow Lift Costs?

It's difficult to estimate brow lift costs, as each patient has a different goal in mind. Your surgeon will discuss brow lift prices in detail with you during your initial appointment, where he will also go over any other questions or concerns you might have about the procedure.

Dr. Williams' goal is to give patients the most natural, beautiful outcome possible. Call us today to schedule your appointment.
