Meet the Staff:

Sandra Harvey RRT, RN, BS, MSN

Dream lofty dreams, and as you dream, so shall you become. Your vision is the promise of what you shall one day be; your ideal is the prophecy of what you shall one day unveil.—James Allen

You may or may not see Sandie, as she is the behind the scenes orchestrator. Sandra Harvey is the executive practice administrator. She is a master prepared registered nurse and oversees the practice as well as attends to clinical patients. If you have any problems or concerns, she is the one to contact.

Ms. Harvey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Advanced Respiratory Therapy from Weber State College in Ogden, UT. She also earned accreditation as a Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician and Registered Respiratory Therapist. Sandra furthered her education with an Associate of Science degree in Nursing at the University of the State of New York School of Nursing in Albany and a Masters of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix.

A large part of Sandra’s master's work focused on nursing theory and philosophy.  Referring to these principles assists her in understanding and evaluating each individual’s goals. Her position reflects the theory that through patient education, research and open communications, an optimal experience will be the ultimate outcome.

Sandra also has written several papers, which have been published in nursing and physician journals. Her career has involved serving on many leadership committees, executive boards and volunteering for non-profit associations. She frequently attends and participates in local, national and global health educational events. In 2003 at the annual meeting for American College of Chest Physicians, she was an invited guest speaker for Web-based Educational Strategies. She also served as guest speaker at the 12th World Congress for Bronchology in 2002 in Boston and participated in the previous year’s event in Yokohama, Japan.

Currently, Sandra is also teaching at University of Phoenix, in Las Vegas on Health and Wellness.

Robert Harvey, MA

Rob is also known as “the big guy.”  Born in California, raised abroad, and played football for Penn State; he has now settled in Las Vegas. One memory he has, goes back to a time when he was very young living in Cork, Ireland. To this day, he cannot figure out how a ghost or leprechaun was able to secretly make his bed every day while he was down stairs having breakfast!

Rob is the Surgical Assistant to Dr. Williams. His primary area of expertise is found in the operating room with the doctor. However, you will see him in the office working with patients and filling out lots of paper work.

Rob has been with Dr. Williams for about 7 years and has served in many positions over that time. When he is not in the office he is busy with his son, where they are actively involved with club baseball and camping.

Isa Ramos

Isa Ramos is the front desk coordinator at our office. She moved to Las Vegas from Los Angeles, CA hoping for a better future for her and her family. Isa is very active with her boys and club baseball.

In the office, she is responsible for patient scheduling, diagnostic testing, accounts receivable and outside referrals. Isa works closely with our back office medical assistants, Rob and Letty, to assure our patient’s procedures are ordered in a timely manner. Her bi-lingual skills really make many of our patient’s much more comfortable, in stressful medical situations.

With 10 years experience in the medical field, including collections, claim processing and billing, Isa understands that patient care is the #1 key to having a successful medical office. She is without a doubt a jewel.

Leticia Ramos, MA

Letty is the newest member to Dr. Williams’ staff. She is quiet, but don’t let that fool you. Letty knows her stuff. Yes, she is Isa's sister. So it can be double trouble in the office at times, the two of them can really gang up on the patients and smother them with love!

Letty works the back office where she is responsible for patient care and maintaining the medical records. Often she steps in and covers other responsibilities too. Letty has 10 years of experience as a medical assistant. She brings expertise from OB/GYN and family practice, which have contributed to her background and skills in the back office. Letty also is bilingual and this is a real asset to our Hispanic community.

In the year she has been with Dr. Williams, she has been an integral part of the office. She has participated in the Hand Society meeting and has taken a special interest in hand fractures, and the importance that hand therapy plays in contributing to optimal outcomes.
